Project Create (Design and Technology)

Project Create has given me a chance to be creative, imaginative, learn new skills and produce something amazing at the end - Year 4 Child

Our Create Projects are taught in the summer term and carefully integrate Music, Art and Design and Design and Technology. 

Design and Technology Intent

Design and Technology is an inspiring, rigorous and practical subject that encourages children to learn, think and intervene creatively to solve problems both, as individuals and as members of a team. 

We encourage children touse their creativity and imagination, to design and make products that solve real and relevant problems within a variety of contexts.  We want to develop aspiring innovators and risk-takers that are able to reflect upon past and present designs, evaluate their uses and effectiveness, and use this to drive their own ideas. 

We ensure that, wherever possible, links are made across other disciplines such as Mathematics, Science, Engineering, Computing and Art.
